dj Mada feat. Jérôme Li-Thiao-Té
Ahmed Khalil aka DJ Mada started his career at the age of 16, playing at the one and only local club in his hometown Suez, Egypt. After getting acknowledged in the most prestigious venues across the Egyptian seaside, in 2002 he moved to Hungary. Mada played at several underground clubs in Budapest then soon performed at events such as the world-famous Cinetrip spa party series, the vibrant MayDay gigs, and Sziget Festival. Currently he is the resident DJ at Buddha-Bar Budapest, playing a unique mix of chill-out, electronic and world music all featuring ethnic vibes.
Jérôme Li-Thiao-Té drags his violin everywhere he can find people enjoying Music. He is the founding member of “J3ZZ“, a producer, a composer and he coaches interdisciplinary improvisation using a violin and electronics. He enjoys working in an international and multicultural environment, always looking for exchanges and collaborations between different artists and societies.
From classical to contemporary music (taking part in Grecsó Zoltán’s Willany Leó Improvizációs Táncszínház), spoken word, barn rock, bluegrass and pop music, he likes to jump from one world to another.
