In these difficult COVID-19 times, independant artists like me, are struggling.

Everything got cancelled (shows, tours, exhibitions, residencies, studio work...).
With no help from the institutions and no way to perform at public events, we won't last long...

Park in progress

Published on February 13, 2016

For Park in Progress, in the UN buffer zone in Nicosia Cyprus, in 2014, I created an outdoor spatial audio installation (16 speakers) after a residency where I established a catalogue of sounds produced by human body, creating a vocabulary of sounds. I invited a circus artist and her dog to perform with me for the opening of the exhibition.

A performative sound installation

A place where the imaginary vision of the performer meet Nicosia's reality. A project created and performed as part of Park in Progress 11th edition (Nicosia, Cyprus 2014) in collaboration with Pépinières Européennes pour Jeunes Artistes.
